CENTER FOR APPLIED INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (CAIT) Ton Duc Thang University

I. GENERAL INFORMATION

Established on June 16, 2014, under Decision No. 758/2014/TĐT-QĐ by the President of Ton Duc Thang University, the Center for Applied Information Technology (CAIT) is a pioneering unit providing comprehensive IT solutions and services. We are proud to be a trusted partner in:

• Researching and developing digital solutions for management, teaching, and higher education operations;
• Providing intensive IT training programs, meeting learning demands and enhancing digital capacity for learners inside and outside the university;
• Implementing and consulting on IT and digital transformation projects that contribute to the modernization of the university’s governance system.

With an experienced and innovative team, CAIT continuously strives to develop highly applicable technological solutions, contributing to building an intelligent, connected, and sustainable university environment.

III. HUMAN RESOURCES & INFRASTRUCTURE

CAIT currently consists of 33 high-skilled professionals, including 14 experienced software developers in the Software Development Team, who are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software systems for management, operations, and digital transformation. In addition to technical staff, the center also includes IT experts and lecturers with strong academic and teaching backgrounds. They are the backbone of our application-oriented training programs that help develop high-quality human resources in IT to meet society’s increasing demands. Our human resources are the core strength that affirms CAIT’s role in the technology ecosystem of Ton Duc Thang University and our readiness to expand collaboration and knowledge transfer to the broader community.

• Collaborative research and technology transfer of science and technology projects.
• Design and development of software and digital applications to support digital transformation.
• Delivery of international-standard IT training programs: MOS, ICDL, IC3.
• Training and certification of national-level IT qualifications: Basic and Advanced IT Application Certificates.
• Short-term intensive training programs, including:
  • Web programming (C++, C#, Java, ReactJS, WordPress,…)
  • PYTHON and MOBILE development (iOS, Android)
